How Poké Vision handles and protects your data.

This Privacy Policy explains how Poké Vision ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your data when you use our Discord bot companion for Pokèmon#8738. By using Poké Vision, you consent to the data practices described below.

1. Data We Collect

To provide our services, we collect and store the following minimal information:

  • User IDs: Your unique Discord ID to link your saved data with your account.
  • Server IDs: Your server's unique ID to save specific configurations (like ping roles).
  • Collection Data: The Pokémon you log into your inventory and your pinned favorites.
  • Shiny Hunts & Quests: The targets and typings you actively elect to be pinged for.
  • User Settings: Your AFK status and the reason provided.

2. How We Use Your Data

The data we collect is strictly used to make the bot function, including:

  • Checking your hunt list or quest settings to determine if you should receive an alert when a Pokèmon#8738 spawn appears.
  • Displaying your collection to you and other users.
  • Applying server-wide rules defined by your server administrators.
We do NOT sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties.

3. Message Content

Poké Vision requires the "Message Content" intent strictly to read image attachments from Pokèmon#8738 to perform image identification. We do not store, log, or save the contents of user messages. Images are processed in-memory and immediately discarded.

4. Data Deletion

You have full control over your personal data and can delete it at any time using built-in commands:

/collection clear — Deletes your entire Pokémon collection./shinyhunt clear — Deletes your shiny hunt targets.

If you want your Discord ID and all associated data completely purged from our database, please open a ticket in our Support Server.
